Put this rightWest Wales' working airfield — a former RAF station welcoming visiting aircraft, with a flying club on site.
Pembrey Airport (EGFP) sits between Burry Port and Kidwelly on the Carmarthenshire coast, on the site of wartime RAF Pembrey — the station Guy Gibson flew from before leading the Dambusters. Today it is a working GA airfield with a flying club, handling visiting private and corporate aircraft including executive jets, with charter passenger capability. Note for visiting pilots: Pembrey is one of the most militarily active civil airports in Britain (the Pembrey Sands range is close by), so PPR is essential — call ahead.
