Who we are

AeroNow is operated by Beardmore Digital, the trading name of Sean Beardmore — the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Contact: 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 6EB · info@aeronowdirectory.com

What we collect

  • Enquiries — your name, email address, message, and which organisation you contacted.
  • Listing claims — contact name, email, role, and the details you provide to support a claim.
  • Newsletter — your email address.
  • Club accounts — your email address (used for magic-link sign-in) and the content you add to your listing: rates, facilities, photos, fleet details.
  • Directory listings — business contact details of listed organisations, which can be personal data where an organisation is a sole trader.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type) from our hosting, and requests for map tiles when you view a map.
  • Visit statistics — which pages are viewed, roughly where from (country, region and approximate city), on which browser and type of device, and which website sent you here. Counted in aggregate by our host, without cookies, and never joined to your name or email.
  • Google Analytics data — only if you agreed to it — the pages you view and the order you view them in, how you arrived, your approximate location from your IP address, your device and browser, and an identifier stored in your browser that recognises it on a later visit. Nothing is collected here unless you said yes to the banner, and never joined to your name or email. See the cookie policy to change your answer.

How we use it — and our lawful bases

  • Run the directory and display listings — legitimate interests.
  • Forward your enquiry to the right organisation and keep a record of that attribution — legitimate interests.
  • Provide and manage your club account — contract.
  • Send the newsletter — consent. Unsubscribe any time; every email carries a link.
  • Understand which parts of the directory are used, from aggregate visit statistics that identify nobody — legitimate interests.
  • Measure the same thing in more detail with Google Analytics — consent. This is the only thing on this list that waits for your permission, and withdrawing it on the cookie policy page stops it.
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

Who processes data for us

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage, hosted in London (UK/EU).
  • Vercel — website hosting, content delivery, and cookieless visit statistics (United States).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery, e.g. enquiry forwarding and notifications (United States).
  • Google — Tag Manager and Google Analytics (United States). Loads only after you agree, and stores nothing before that.
  • OpenStreetMap — map tiles. Your browser requests these directly, so OpenStreetMap sees your IP address when you view a map.

When Commerce and Club OS features launch, Stripe and Meta (WhatsApp) will process data as part of those services. This policy will be updated before either goes live.

International transfers

Where personal data is processed outside the UK (Vercel, Resend and — with your agreement — Google, all in the United States), the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and claim records: while the organisation is listed, plus up to 24 months, so we can evidence the introductions we made.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Club accounts: until the account is closed, plus up to 12 months.

After those periods, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time — email info@aeronowdirectory.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113).

Automated decision-making

We make no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effect. Our AI-assisted claim extraction is always reviewed by a human before a listing changes.

Children

The service is not directed at under-18s, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

Changes are posted on this page with an updated date above.

This policy reflects how the site actually works today: a directory with enquiry, claim, newsletter and account features, plus analytics you can refuse — no advertising, no data sale. That will not change without this page changing first.
